AC and Electrical Service in DeBary, FL

ACE Air Conditioning & Electrical has been family-owned and operated since 1979, and our office is at 2985 Enterprise Road, Suite A, in DeBary. Since January 2023 alone we have completed 1,713 jobs in this town, more than in any other community on our list.

ACE holds licenses in over 30 states for commercial construction, but the service side of the business is local. Deltona, Orange City, Enterprise and Osteen surround us in Volusia County, and Sanford is just across the county line in Seminole County.

Most of the work is cooling. Of those jobs, 1,391 were AC service calls: warm air from the vents, ice on the refrigerant line, a condenser fan that stopped turning, or a drain line that backed up and tripped the float switch. In our job notes the most frequent cause is a clogged condensate drain, followed by refrigerant leaks; a failed capacitor or contactor is also common, and a straightforward part to replace once it is found.

We also completed 63 full system installs and 110 maintenance visits in DeBary. Every AC repair is quoted at a flat rate before work starts. When a system is 12 to 15 years old or still runs on R-22, we will tell you if a replacement makes more sense than another repair, and a yearly tune-up keeps a newer system out of trouble.

DeBary had 209 electrical jobs in the same period, the highest count of any town we serve. Our licensed electricians handle breakers that trip, dead outlets and GFCIs, and lights that flicker through electrical repair. Bigger jobs include replacing an older panel or moving from 100 to 200 amp service with panel upgrades and rewiring.

Across all of our customers, pool and spa wiring and electrical panels come up more often than any other electrical work. Hurricane season adds its own list: standby generators, transfer switches and surge protection, so the house keeps running when the grid does not.

Two current offers on our promotions page help with a replacement: $500 off energy-efficient AC systems, and a referral offer where you and the friend you send to us each get $50 off your next AC service. Offers change, so check the page before you book.

Replacement estimates are free. A heat pump, or a ductless mini-split for a garage or sunroom, is priced the same way, with the number fixed before any work begins.

Besides service, ACE installs the HVAC systems in new commercial buildings for general contractors. In our home town that includes the Orange City Medical / Oncology building, built with DL Harkins Construction in 2022, and River City Church, built with Senatore Construction in 2010. The rest of our work is on the projects page.

Local businesses call us for service as well, with 126 commercial calls in town since January 2023. We work on rooftop units, split systems and restaurant equipment such as walk-in coolers through our commercial HVAC service.

Call (386) 668-8651 or book online. If the AC quits at night or on a weekend, we offer emergency service, and an after-hours dispatch fee applies to those calls.
