ACE Air Conditioning & Electrical is a licensed and insured electrical contractor for businesses across Central Florida. We handle service calls, tenant build-outs, panels, lighting and the dedicated circuits that kitchens and shops depend on, with the price agreed before work starts.

Most commercial electrical calls start with something that stopped: a bank of lights, a row of receptacles, a cooler, a sign, or a rooftop unit that will not restart after a storm. Our electrician traces the cause, whether it is a tripped or failed breaker, a loose connection, a burned receptacle, a failed ballast or LED driver, or a problem on the utility side, and gives you a flat price before the repair starts.
Because we are also an air conditioning contractor, a rooftop unit that has power at the disconnect but still will not run is one call instead of two. A warm breaker, a burning smell or a scorched receptacle should be called in right away rather than left for the next business day.
Before the electrician arrives, it helps to know which panel feeds the problem, when it started, and whether anything in the building changed recently, such as new equipment, a storm or work by another trade. That information shortens the diagnosis and gets the lights back on sooner.
Here is what business customers actually paid us for completed commercial electrical jobs from January 2023 to October 2026. The range covers the middle half of those jobs, and typical means the median. Installations vary widely with the size of the job.

| Commercial electrical installation | $1,903 | $687 to $3,375 | 25 |

When a space changes tenants, the electrical usually changes with it. We wire tenant improvements for offices, retail stores, medical suites and restaurants: new branch circuits, receptacle locations, lighting layouts, dedicated equipment circuits and the panel changes the new layout needs. We work from the permit drawings, pull the electrical permit, coordinate with the landlord and the other trades, and schedule the inspections.
Build-out schedules are usually tight because rent starts before the doors open. We plan the rough-in so the walls can close on time, and we line up the final electrical inspection with the general contractor or the tenant's project manager so the certificate of occupancy is not waiting on us.
One recent electrical project on our list is Little Angels Pediatric Extended Care in Apopka, Florida, built with Invision Construction in 2025. Ground-up buildings for general contractors are covered on our commercial construction page.

Panels are among the most frequent subjects in our electrical work, mentioned about 966 times in our electrical service records since January 2023, across homes and businesses. In a commercial building that means replacing worn or undersized panelboards, adding sub-panels for an expansion, replacing breakers that will not hold, and labeling circuits so the next person can find them.
Kitchens, shops and clinics need dedicated circuits sized to each equipment nameplate: ovens, dish machines, walk-in condensing units, ice machines, air compressors and rooftop units. We check panel capacity before adding load, so the new equipment does not start tripping the main on its first busy day.
Inside, we handle LED retrofits, new fixtures for a remodel, occupancy sensors and time clocks, and the emergency and exit lights that have to pass the fire inspection. Outside, we repair and replace parking lot pole lights, wall packs, sign circuits, photocells and timers.
A dark parking lot is a safety problem for customers and staff, so we start with the cause instead of swapping parts: a failed lamp or driver, a bad photocell or time clock, or a fault in the underground circuit that feeds the poles. Older fixtures can be converted to LED while the lift is on site.
Emergency lights and exit signs run on batteries that wear out quietly. We test them, replace failed batteries and fixtures, and leave a record you can show the fire inspector.

Businesses call us for an electrical inspection before signing a lease, after an insurer or fire inspector flags a problem, or ahead of a remodel. We look at panels and breakers, grounding and bonding, GFCI protection where code requires it, exposed or damaged wiring, overloaded circuits, and exit and emergency lighting. You get written findings and a price to correct each item. Homeowners should see our residential electrical inspections instead.
For a business that cannot close during a hurricane outage, we install standby generators and transfer switches sized to the loads that matter, such as coolers and freezers, lighting, registers and network equipment. Generators come up about 92 times in our electrical service records since January 2023.
Most businesses call us for one of three reasons: something stopped working, something new needs power, or an inspector wants something fixed. All three start the same way, with a visit, a plain explanation of what we found, and a price before any work.
Our electricians are based in DeBary and serve businesses across Central Florida, including Orlando, Sanford, Lake Mary, DeLand and Deltona. Call (386) 668-8651 or schedule a visit. If the same building has a cooling problem too, mention it when you call and our commercial HVAC service team can look at it as well.
On completed jobs from January 2023 to October 2026, our commercial customers paid a typical $341 for an electrical service call, and the middle half paid between $199 and $537. The price depends on what failed and the parts the repair needs. The electrician gives you a flat price before starting any work.
Yes. For tenant improvements we pull the electrical permit, work from the permit drawings, and schedule the rough-in and final inspections with the building department. If the space has no drawings yet, tell us when you call, because many build-outs need a designer's drawings before the building department will issue a permit.
Often, yes. We read the equipment nameplate, check the spare spaces and the load already on the panel, and tell you whether a new dedicated circuit fits. If the panel is full or the service is too small, we price a sub-panel or an upgrade instead, so you can decide before the equipment is delivered.
Yes. Parking lot lights usually go dark because of a failed lamp or driver, a bad photocell or time clock, or a fault in the underground circuit feeding the poles. We find which one it is, price the repair, and can convert older fixtures to LED while the lift is already on site.
Yes. ACE Air Conditioning & Electrical has both trades under one roof, which helps most when a rooftop unit, walk-in cooler or ice machine has a power problem. One call gets the electrical side and the refrigeration side looked at together, and you deal with one company for the repair and the invoice.
Yes. We size a standby generator and automatic transfer switch to the loads you need during an outage, such as coolers and freezers, lighting, registers and network equipment, then pull the permit and coordinate the inspection. Tell us which circuits must stay on, and we will price a generator that covers them.
